Intervention

  • Implemented carb cycling: high-carb days on training days (4.5g/kg), moderate carbs on off days (2.5g/kg).
  • Protein intake set at 2.8g/kg, evenly distributed across 5 meals to optimize muscle protein synthesis.
  • Fat adjusted inversely to carb intake to maintain calorie balance.
  • Training volume increased by 12% focusing on hypertrophy range (8-12 reps).

Results
